Who is Team Utah Idaho?
Team Utah Idaho is made up of transplant recipients and living donors of all organs from throughout both states. Team members have ranged in age from 3 to 70. Grateful athletes with new hearts, kidneys, livers, lungs and pancreases participate in strenuous athletic events to celebrate a new life and prove that organ donation brings a full return to good health.
The Transplant Games of America are an Olympic-style Transplant Games of America which host more than 2,000 athletes from every corner of the U.S. Visit the registration page to sign-up today!
Similar Games have been held by the National Kidney Foundation since 1990, which includes transplant recipients and living donors who compete in strenuous sporting events. Recipients of every type of life-saving organ transplant--including kidney, liver, heart, lung, pancreas and bone marrow--compete for gold, silver and bronze medals as they celebrate their second chance at life and show the world the power of organ donation.
The Transplant Games bring hope and joy to both children and adults every year. Proceeds are used to support transplant patients.
